Hodge Podge of Things

I saw this on FB and thought it was great to pass on to others.  It should also include God.  You need God as the third strand in your marriage.
Ecclesiastes 4:12
New International Version (NIV)
12 Though one may be overpowered,
    two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Such a beautiful  morning on the North Coast! WEWS photographer Paul Brest caught the gleaming skyline today.
Here is a picture of the bug that flew by Ben.  It's called a flying scorpion.  It isn't a real scorpion but has the tail like one.  It is harmless, but scary looking!
I had to laugh at this because we used to say this at work all the time!  Someone finally put it in print!  We added 'pray' to this.  It was amazing to have an assistant to pray with. Thank you Patti.
With his big hit Forgiveness, I can't wait to read Matthew West's book.  I've ordered it from the library so we'll see when I get it.  Matthew West received thousands of letters from people about their lives.  He used some of those letters as his inspiration for his songs.
Someone posted this on FB and it brought back lots of memories.  This was the way McDonalds looked many years ago when I was 16 and got my first job there.  It was at the end of our street.  I was the first female to work there at the Pearl Road store.  Up until then it had all been guys who wore black pants, white shirt and bow ties.  It was a walk-up store that they finally added a dining room to.  So long ago.  Notice hamburgers were 15 cents.
Here's a big thank you to Rose for these cards.  Rose gave Patti her sister the pattern for the little boy's outfit which is the yellow plaid outfit with the brown ribbon.  The more I looked at it the more I thought about what else it could be.  I made a dress, shorts with a shirt, a sweater/shorts, and a shirt and skirt.  I used Stampin' Up's fall winter paper for all but the polka dot dress.  Thanks Rose.
This kid has the right idea.  We're all teachers.  We all can teach and learn each day and make the world around us Awesome.  What are you doing to make your world awesome?

Blessing of the Day: Tim took us to Igloo for frozen yogurt.
Thank you for stopping by.
Blessings,
