I am trying to do challenges to keep my creativity going. I like trying to do challenges because it stretches me as a stamper, card maker, creator. I am really enjoying making several cards a day to go to different places or people.
This is for the color challenge today at Splitcoast. The colors were real red, chocolate chip and Bermuda Bay. I stamped in black Stazon, then colored using my aqua painter and a blender pen. I sponged the edges in choc chip. I used the blossoms nesties to cut out the two layers. I added brown ribbon on top of the cabana and used glue dots to adhere them. I added bakers twine to the red buttons and used glue dots to attach them. The image was adhered with dimensionals.
This card was for the Hope You Can Cling To Challenge which was to make a flap card.
This is a new set to me and I love it. I stamped in Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with copic markers. I added a black order then a dp border. I attached the image to the curry flap. This flap lifts up to reveal the inside message. I added retired SU fabric buttons to go with the pillows in the chairs.
This card is for the Mother Mark Tea Party Tuesday where we make cards for people who need them. This card will go to a serviceman who is now in the states receiving rehab. I love making cards like this and sending them to people I don't know. It lets them know they are important and they haven't been forgotten.
I sponged the clouds on soft sky paper using bashful blue and soft sky inks. I stamped the image on white card stock and colored it with Copic markers. I cut out the grass and fence and added them to the card. The propeller was cut out and colored with a silver metallic marker then added with dimensionals to the front of the plane. The clouds and plane were added with SU dimensionals. I hope the serviceman likes it who is in rehab. Praying for him as I am making the card.
It was a gorgeous day here in Cleveland, Ohio. The sun was shining, birds were singing and I got to sit outside in the screened in porch for breakfast, coffee and dinner. I thank Fred Jr., every time I get to do this. I also thank God for this.
Blessing of the Day: I got cards made for people who need them.
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
