CCC=Cards, Cats, Chris.......Hope you are enjoying today. It seems my topics all begin with C today. Check it out.
This card was for Queen For The Day Challenge. Dara is the queen this week.
I stamped the image and colored with Copic markers. I stamped dots around the butterfly to mimic the dots on the paper and background. I used Dara's layout, embossing folder but changed the stamp and colors. When I cut the back two layers I edged with black marker using a ruler. Love to give a layered look without the bulk.
This is Dara's card which was my inspiration.
Tim was again at his Dad's today to finish the walls in the bedroom. He was spakling and getting the walls ready to paint. This room had two walls with about 4 layers of wallpaper on them. He's worked to get all of the layers off, cleaned the walls, then spakled. It's been a long process but he prefers to work alone and not with his siblings. Each one has their own way of doing things. With 4 adults there it isn't easy to make a decision. Two of sibs like to supervise and let him know how he's doing. It takes everything in him to keep quiet and just get the work done.
His Dad is so appreciative. These are things at 85 that he can't do anymore. The kids get together every other Sunday to work on his house.
Our sweet kitty Annabelle has been changing her patterns lately. She's been jumping up on my side of the bed to snuggle in for the night. She usually sleeps with Sarah. Once I get up Annabelle will get up and snuggle with Sarah. Tonight Tim was watching TV in his mancave and Annabelle came and slept in the chair with him. When he got up she stayed there sleeping.
Take a look at what this waitress did for two service members.
I still marvel at the clear thinking and preaching Billy Graham has at 95 years old. He truly is a testimony to show us that one person can change many lives with God's help.
Here is Chris Tomlin singing, This is Our God. Enjoy.
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
