Today began at 3 a.m. for those who went to sleep. We were all eating breakfast by 3:30 a.m. and ready to leave at 3:50, so we left for the airport. We got to the airport by 4:15 or so and waited in line to check in at American Airlines. By the time we did that, and got through security it was 4:45. Starbucks didn't open until 5 a.m. We were to board by 5:20 a.m. I sure hope the pilots are awake and ready to fly by then. LOL
In Chicago we had time for breakfast, so we ate at Chili's. They had a great breakfast of eggs, potatoes, bacon and toast. Who would have thought to eat at Chili's for breakfast. I'm sure because this was in the airport is why it had breakfast.
We had a woman pilot from Cleveland to Chicago and one from Chicago to Arizona.
Loved the larger jet to Arizona as it had small movie screens on which we watched Mr. Banks. You could listen to any type of music if you wanted to do that as well.
We landed in Phoenix and met Ben and Rachel at baggage claim. We boarded buses with our bags which took us to the rental car places. Once out of there we drove through Arizona taking in it's incredible scenery.
We stopped to eat then onto our Ranch for the week.
