Hey Everybody,
Amy's challenge site today is one of her Pinterest sites. Check it out here.
Here is the inspiration for my card.
Keywords: IC1025 |
Stamps: Rustic Centerpiece |
Paper: white, pool party, coastal cabana, bermuda bay, lost lagoon |
Paper Size: A2 |
Ink: memento tuxedo black |
Accessories: Copic Markers, SU Adhesive-backed dots for days, dimensionals, clear wink of stella, SU 3D Sunflower embossing folder, scissors |
Techniques: dry embossing, coloring, fussy cutting |
I took the gradient look of the flower pots and used paper to get a similar effect. I cut three pieces of cardstock then cut those pieces into two or three pieces. I put them back together and embossed them with the Sunflower 3D embossing folder. That was added to the lost lagoon layer which was added to the white card base.
The image was stamped and colored with Copic Markers. I fussy cut it and added it to the embossed panel with dimensionals. I colored the flowers with clear wink of stella and added dot embellishments.
This is new for me to use my paper to make a gradient look instead of ink. Have you done this before?
This is the stamp set I used. I liked this because it had several images for different times of the year. This will be fun to use for classes.
