Hey Everybody,
Nothing says summer like watermelon. The Clean and Simple challenge today is to show watermelon.
You can find the challenge here.
I used my stamping platform to stamp each watermelon multiple times. This stamp was colored with my Stampin' Write markers, which are water-based. I stamped the center piece first, then covered that with a mask and stamped the one on the right. Then stamped the one on the left. I added a sentiment and black behind the image panel then added it to striped designer series paper to finish my card.

Stamps: All Night Media-watermelon, Rubber Age Stamps-Lazy Summer Days |
Paper: white, black, striped dsp from friend |
Paper Size: A2 |
Ink: n/a |
Accessories: Sweet Sorbet, basic black, garden green Stampin' Write markers, mask of watermelon, stamping platform |
Techniques: masking, coloring stamps with markers |
Something to keep in mind when you are masking images is the first image is stamped in front. first/front. Then cover the front image and stamp either to the right or the left of the first image. I also keep the masks in with the stamps so they can be used again and again.
When making a mask, stamp on a sticky note then tear off 2-3 sticky notes and cut out your image. Then you'll have several masks to use and you won't have to move your masks around to do your other stamping.
I'm glad you could stop by today. I hope this helps you with masking images. See you again soon.
Blessings,
Sue
