Featured Stamper's Sunflower

 Hey Everybody,

Today's card is for the Featured Stamper challenge. Here is a link to Ardyth's challenge. Keri is the featured stamper this week. I look through her gallery to see what I'd like to use for inspiration for a card.  Here's what I used for inspiration. Isn't that a stunning card?

Here's my card.

I used a different stamp and made my card vertical instead of horizontal. I also dry embossed to get my wood background. Then I pulled pecan pie, crumb cake and copper clay across the paper to get a blended color. I stamped and colored the images. I fussy cut them. I cut the smaller layer of the flower out and used dimensionals to add it to my card. I added leaves. I stamped my sentiment then dry embossed it. I added a linen thread bow and streaked dots. This will go on a patient tray at a local hospital.

Keywords: FS971 sunflower
Stamps: Penny Black-Sunny Hello
Paper: white, daffodil delight
Paper Size: A2
Ink: memento tuxedo black, pecan pie, crumb cake, copper clay
Accessories: SU Linen Thread, SU-Streaked Dots
Techniques: dry embossing, direct to paper, coloring, fussy cutting

This is a great idea to use if you are stumped and don't know what you want to stamp, or you have a stamp set pulled out but don't know what to do with it.

You can look up online to see what other people did the the same stamp set.  Do a search in your web browser or go to Pinterest. Put the name of the stamp set in the search bar and see what comes up. You should be able to see lots of ideas. If you click on images in a Google search, instead of ALL, you will see card samples people have made.

Penny Black Sunny Hello-This is in my search bar in Pinterest.

Here is what the stamp set looks like.

Well, you get the idea.  If it is a Stampin' Up stamp set, you can also go to Splitcoaststampers and do a search. They have a ton of Stampin' Up stamp sets logged in.
Click on Gallery, then Stampin' Up Gallery. Then click on the folder you need for your stamp set. Then scroll down until you see the name of your stamp set. Click on that you will see all sorts of cards made with that stamp set.

Well, it's time to turn in. It's been a long day.
Thanks for stopping in today.
Blessings,
Sue
