Hey Everybody,
Sabrina's challenge was to do a watercolor grid and doodle card. You can find her challenge here. She's included a video as well. I have to tell you that I was quite intimidated with this challenge.
#1 I don't watercolor well.
#2 I don't doodle well.
#3 If I could draw images, I wouldn't need stamps, now would I? LOL
I always say, "I can't draw a straight line, so I stamp images to make cards!"
I used my water brush and Peerless Water Color paints to paint my monochromatic rectangles. I added doodles with my black pen.
I wanted to accent the images with silver and white. I like how silver and blue look together. Since I used three different blues, I did the same with my background and added strips behind the panel as well as a black frame.
I used the Floral Spray 3D embossing folder on the image panel before I added the silver or white colors. Then I randomly added silver and white to the images.
I added the misty moonlight ribbon because it had silver. I added silver balls to random images. I stamped my greeting and punched it out with the small oval punch. It was added with dimensionals.
