Our challenge is to make a background with a paper towel after coloring it and running it through our machine with an embossing folder.
I used Distress Oxide inks to color my paper towel. I stenciled the pumpkins and cut them out with scissors. I added the greenery from my stash as well as the sentiment. I wrapped the paper towel around my cardstock and taped it. I added it to a pumpkin pie card base. This will go on a dinner tray at a local hospital.

The challenge is to make an Autumn card. I made a baby wipe stamp pad for the Thanks sentiment. I dried the baby wipe and die cut it for the flowers. When I tried to emboss the baby wipe (which I thought was dry) the ink went onto the embossing folder. So I ran white cardstock in my embossing folder and got a cool multi-colored looking background! I added my die cut baby wipe with my sentiment and die cut leaves. This will go to a senior center for residents to use.

Our challenge was to use soft sea foam, old olive, mossy meadow, peaceful pine and to add another color. I added blackberry bliss.
I stamped my image in blackberry bliss then colored it with Derwent watercolor pencils. I stamped the sentiment then fussy cut it. I dry embossed the sentiment to make it stand out a bit. I like the look of the embossed sentiment, how about you? Is that something you'd use on a card?

I used direct to paper using the 4 green ink pads on the white cardstock. I pulled each ink pad across the cardstock from lightest to darkest. This card will go on a dinner tray at a local hospital.

Well, another set of three cards has been shared. Any that you'd like to try? I have to admit some of the cards I like better than others. But, I give myself grace because I'm willing to do these challenges and share them with others.
Many times after I've made a card, if I were to make it again, I find that I'd change some things. Maybe you're that way too.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Blessings,
Sue
