Comfortable Friends are Priceless

Well this was a pocket card I made using Julia's directions for the Ways To Use It challenge today on SCS. I love the Thomas Kincaid stamps and thought they'd look great with this layout and set of colors. I just spent an evening over dinner with a very dear friend. I want her to know how special she is. She is the kind of person that no matter how long we've been apart we can come together and talk about just about anything. We have a tendency to close the restaurants as well. Our husbands wonder how in the world we are able to talk that much and still have more to say!! LOL, the mysteries of a woman, I tell him!
I find that God is like that also. Even if I've been away from Him for a while, returning to him is as comfortable as a hug from a dear friend. He is always with me and always takes me back even when I've rebelled or strayed from Him. What a wonderful example to us all who are parents. As difficult as it is to forgive, God forgives us and helps us to move forward in life. I pray that you know God in that way. If you don't ask me about Him.

I'm so glad you had a good friend with whom you could spend time with. God is so good to send someone into our lives to help us along.

I would like to refer you to a blogger friend of mine. She is a wonderful Christian and prayer warrior (and quite a talented stamper) She is establishing a prayer chain of sorts of which we can list prayer requests and also pray for those who requested.
