So it seems like I've been gone forever ya know? I had a very busy week. Thursday evening we had parent conferences so we worked 8-8. Friday right after work I went on a retreat with my dear friend for Friday night and all day Saturday. Sunday my family went to Mapleside, a wonderful family-owned orchard and stores. Their property is just gorgeous to stand and look at. I got a few pictures of our trip. The kids enjoyed seeing apple orchards and how small the trees really were at this farm. They saw rows and rows of pumpkins growing in the fields as well. Many had been picked already.
The card I've posted if from my new SU kit. I love being able to make cards so quickly. I altered the original posted card by inking the flower underneath with pomegranate and turning the flower a little so it was layered. I love the effect it gave.

I've been thinking about you and I'm glad to know you were enjoying yourself with friends and family. Especially since you all were enjoying nature in the fall! Great pics!
