Tonight I was busy making a few designs for Thanksgiving. The Card Ministry will be meeting Friday and I need a design so that 15 cards may be made to give to shut ins.
As I was making them it reminded me how thankful I truly am for what I have. I often though forget to thank God until things go wrong, you know? Like your health; you're cruising along then BAM, something physical happens and you're on your knees again praying that God will help you through the difficult time. Or your idea of being hungry is no where near being hungry for other people who have so little to eat. I continue to pray that God will use me for whatever he needs me to do and that when He is ready to take me home, I'll be used up from doing all He needs me to do..........Gotta go and make some more cards for card ministry Friday. What a blessing to be able to use your gifts in that way!
I have to admit we're Yankee fans in this home, but since they're out, I hope the Indians take it all. Congratulations! I'll be rooting with you!
