Literally my Sar-sar has been framed today! I made over a frame I got in the dollar bin at Michael's. It was two Mary Englebright frames for a dollar. I covered this with some SU holiday paper and added flowers. The flowers are in the middle because this frame has a section in the middle that sticks up beyond the frame so I had to cover it. LOL The frame is magnet-backed.
I made this for SCS's Inspiration Challenge 100 which had us make a card for someone who inspired us. My upline inspires me and she loves frames to put pictures of her two grand-babies in, so I made a frame that will be mounted on a card.
Sarah's 10 and I'm amazed at how fast the years are going. We all too soon will be empty-nesters. My husband can't wait.........I can. I have loved each stage of my kid's lives. The terrible two's were funny because as a teacher I knew what they were doing and it frustrated them when they didn't get their way, or I walked out of the room if they started a tantrum. They didn't have many at all since no one was there to see it. I wonder if God does that now and then when we tantrum and want our own way. Does he just chuckle and leave the room temporarily until we come to our senses and look for Him? Just like our children, we too look for God to make things right. I am amazed He keeps coming back to find me after so many times of wanting my way. I'm so thankful for His mercy and grace, aren't you? Bless you until we meet again.
This is a place where I can share my love of family, stamping and the Lord.
