Our Present

As we near the official start of the Christmas shopping season, I decided to make a card to remind me who the real gift is. Here is my Madonna and Child framed with a bow on top to look like a present. Sometimes we get so busy checking our lists and driving here and there for shopping, concerts, etc. that we forget the real reason for this season. I'm hoping I will allow things to stay in control since I know whose in control of my life and everything else. Hope you like this card.

I just finished two more cards today to add to my Christmas Card pile. I love to make my own cards and work on them when I can. I don't do assembly line style so each is an original. I often take my watercolor crayons in a container big enough to hold the crayons, aquapainters and small stamped cardstock so I can watercolor when waiting at appoints for my kids or myself. It makes the time go faster and it gets my Christmas cards done faster and easier. So, here are two that I've just finished. You'll have to let me know what you think.

Aren't you the clever multi-tasker: waiting for appointments and working on your Christmas cards. My favorite is the snowman and kitten. Their expressions are just darling and I love how you have them looking at the stars in the snowy sky. Very very cute!

The baby Jesus and Mary is so nice too. The brads just give it a rich look.
