On this day in the U.S. we celebrate the day Thanksgiving. Do you know that George Washington in 1789 set aside this day as the first day of Thanksgiving and Prayer? Read for yourself......interesting how much God is woven into this isn't it? Check out this silly but true link with a video about the pardoning of Turkeys by the President. Interesting stuff I think.
I am so thankful for my husband(who is making the whole meal-by choice. He loves cooking and doesn't like any help in the kitchen!) I am thankful for my children, for God's unfailing love, my family, healthy, friends, but NOT the snow that is falling right now here in Ohio!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
This is the card I made this morning which needed to have stitching on it. The stitching around the heart and flowers is white pen. The stitching on the ribbon is liquid applique. Hope you like it.
This is a place where I can share my love of family, stamping and the Lord.
