So finally the day came when the carpeting was installed! It looks like we're almost done in our basement. My DH put in the tile under the stairs. Next the edging will go in then we can put the fridge in it's new home under the stairs in our new basement.
We also have to paper the walls then we can put the closet doors in and move the furniture back into the basement. I can't wait to see what this all looks like.

The cat is called Sam and he's sitting on our new navy blue carpeting in the basement.
Sam is a beautiful cat!!! I have a black one with rich fur like that. I just love to run my fingers through his fur.
Your basement is looking great. What a difference! It looks so warm and cozy.
