Banana Bread Baking Such Fun!

We had some bananas in need of being baked into bread. You know the kind, the kids get them and say they are going to eat them, then they go soft................Today after church each child made their own bread following Betty's recipe. They love making things from scratch. It was fun to have each do their own loaf of bread. One is with nuts and one is without. Here are some pics of the bakers..........enjoy.............they did! :-)

"Mom, how do you mash bananas, a spoon, fork, how about a meat tenderizer?"

"Never had banana batter before, but it's G-O-O-D!"
"Nothing like warm banana bread!" Have some!

"A fork on a cutting board will smash those bananas!"

"Next, clean out the bowl completely with your fingers or a spatula!"
Then bake and eat..........Yum! This was the loaf with nuts!

It's amazing how far these guys have come in their lives. They know their way around the kitchen quite well. It is a fun mom/kid activity to bake like this. I usually now just read the directions and they do the work. They love it and so do I. Guess who gets the clean up? They do!
I thank God for times like this with my kids and photos to show them I wasn't always the mean mom! LOL
Hope you're having a wonderful, relaxing day.
Bless you for your visit here.
