More Cards More Sadness

Well here we are late on Monday and I'm just getting to this for today. It has been a cool day here in Ohio. Just beautiful for summer for me. I sat out on the screened-in porch and read my Bible and got my quiet time. It was a wonderful time to be able to look out at all He created while I read and thought about what I had read.
Tomorrow we will go to the funeral of a 20 year old who was killed by a truck while riding his bike to work. It's so, so sad. His family is a strong, Christian family but it is so hard to watch anyone go through the death of a child. I made a card for this family and for my upline who is very good friends with the mom of this boy. The hummingbird cards are the ones that will go to these ladies and hopefully bring them comfort.
I enjoyed working with this set, Spring Song from SU. I've had it sitting here waiting to be cut out and mounted to the wood. With school out now, I have some time that I can do things like this.

This picture is the partial set I made for TLC171 where you had to make 3x3 cards, envys and a box to put them in. I love making boxes into purses, so that's what I did with this box. I added some sparkle and bling to it too.

My hubby went to the doctor today and had the first checkup in a long, long time. I pray that he will continue to eat well and exercise to be as healthy as he can be.
Thank you for dropping by. If you are a praying person please pray for Sue and Terry for the loss of their son.
Thank you ever so much.
Hugs,

Your cards are very nice. I'm sure they will be a source of comfort. I will lift your friends up in prayer. I can't imagine the pain they must be feeling.

Love your 3x3 set...I've been meaning to do that challenge...sometime!
I, too, will pray for your friends. Any loss of a child is devastating.
