So Loved...........

So, I have to share that my kids, 11 and 13 are on summer vacation and I am NOT! So M-TH this week, I'll be getting up early to go to work, while they are fast asleep in their bed. Last night my son gave me a poem he wrote that I just had to share. Let me know what you think.

Morning Time

Just because we are still in bed

do not put mean thoughts in your head.

The day is beginning with much to do.

So just get through it and thank God you are you.

Do not get mad and do not get sad.

You have a whole day of chances to be glad.

You may not like it ‘cuz work is not fun,

but I have heard that teachers make a ton.

Not in money, not in fame

but in the relationships all the same.

It may be with students who are very close,

or it may be with staff who do not boast.

Whatever you do remember one thing,

remember that God is with you so pray or sing.

He is always listening and will never leave you,

even if you have a lot to do.

You have a nice assistant who will brighten up the day

so every day at night you will say,

I am glad to be your servant Lord,

Then go back to bed.

I have to tell you I was feeling so loved. Guess what he wrote 3 more poems for me today and they made me cry. I'll share them soon.
