Dream Mum from Stacey

Check out Stacey's blog to see how easy making a flower like this can be. She's a genius! I made my flower a bit smaller than hers so I could fit it onto this card. You use the 5-Petal punch for the flower and the large oval punch for the leaves. I stamped the leaves from Happiness Always and the butterfly as the background. I used the new colors, Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point. I also used the new Bella Paper. I know I'll be ordering more of this paper too.
I am preparing for a punch workshop this Friday and that's how I came across this mum. How clever huh?

Here's another version of the mum I made above, but this one has glitter on it and has another layer of petals.

Here's another flower made with two different sizes of circle punches and a large oval punch.
If this is your idea, please let me know. I saw the idea yesterday and made it but didn't bookmark the page, so I don't know who to give credit to. If it's your idea, please let me know so I can give you credit.
I love the soft look of this pretty flower made with circle punches and the large oval punch for the leaves. Pink Pirouette was used for the paper petals and coral ink was used on the petals.

Today at home we're painting the ceiling of DD's room and spackling, sanding and putting 2 coats of primer on DS's room. Can't wait until the rooms are done. The hardest work being the wallpaper remover, is done.
We have to order their carpeting tomorrow.
Busy, busy, busy around here with vacation next week.
Thank you for stopping by today. Take care and take time for yourself.
Blessings,
