White Lace

So here's my Inspiration Challenge piece for this week. I loved doing this tonight. This is my take on Inspiration Challenge 135. I sponged olive, ballet blue and navy blue inks onto my cardstock. Then I stamped with versamark and embossed with white ep. Next I put versamark all over the front of the cardstock and used clear ep. Then I stamped in versamark on navy and embossed with white ep.
Ballet blue paper under the navy.
We have had a very busy weekend. DH put the shelves up in the basement closet that he made, stained and sealed. Then the kids and I filled those shelves with things from the temporary shelving we set up. As I was doing this, I was going through things and throwing things out....That took a day and a half. Then I went through the photos that were loose and put them into a photo box and sorted the photos into years.......yikes there were baby pictures to 2006 I think. Today I went through another box of cards, notes and letters from my DH. Awwww....I even found the papers, receipts and cards from our wedding. What a neat thing to come back to. I tried to read some of the letters from DH but the kids kept interrupting so I'll try that again another day.
DD and DS are packing up their rooms so we can move furniture and paint.
Today we shopped for a soldier in Iraq who is from our church. We packed all sorts of things into his package. We will mail it along with another package to Jen Eberle who has a group that makes sure servicemen and women get cards to send to their loved ones. So we are sending cards, envelopes and card fronts from others.
It's been a full weekend and I'm ready to rest.
Take care, and thank God for all you are and all you have. Sometimes I forget to do that.
Blessings and Hugs,

Sue, this is a really pretty card. I love the colours and the stamps you've used. TFS!!

Sounds like you're getting a lot accomplished. It is fun to go through memorabilia, eh?
