Card Ministry 1 Year Anniversary

This was the sympathy card we made for card ministry tonight. We used passion pink and olive markers to color the stamp. We used two different greens and cut out a butterfly on the top on so the bottom paper would show through. We took the butterfly and glued him to the inside with the saying.

This is a variation of a card I saw a few weeks ago on SCS. I used Just Delightful scrapping paper and stickers to do these as a thank you gift for all the people who came tonight to help make cards for the Card Ministry.
The circle is a 3/4" circle using Just Delightful paper. The flower is from the wedding section at Michaels, it came in a small paint can.

This is the inside of the thank you card. Each person who attended tonight made one and took it with them home with a tea packet inside.
The scrappin' paper was glued at the bottom. The pocket top was held in place by using the stickers from the scrappin' kit. They were cut to 3" then with two, three inch sections we made them meet in the center of the pocket and wrapped them around the back. The flower was placed in the middle so you wouldn't see where they met.

This is the card the Card ministry made for the shut-ins this month. I taught them how to mask something. I like the two sides of the Happiness always stamp set. The 5 petal punch was used as was the retired corner punch.

This is the masculine sympathy card we made in Card ministry. I love this set and how versatile it is. I can stamp in black and color it or stamp in one color. Hunter green used for the image. Mustard behind with eyelets. Two mustard large ovals are under the white large oval with words on them. The eyelets were added to the image section before it was attached to the hunter green.

We had a family of 5 come to work on cards as a family for the Card Ministry. It was a wonderful night as 2 ladies who were new came along as well. I praise God that we're here a year after we started this ministry. So many people have gotten cards as a results of our working together.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Blessings,
