New Flourishes Stamps for Me

Here is a card I made for the sketch challenge at SCS yesterday. I colored my new Flourishes lilacs with watercolor crayons and my aqua painter. It is edged in choc chip with Recollections paper then apricot. The words were stamped in choc chip on a scallop circle punch piece which I cut every other tip off of. I put choc chip ink on the apricot flower and white ink on the choc chip flower.

So in all this business of getting kid's rooms done and putting desk furniture together, I got my Flourishes stamps. I love poppies because they remind me of the ones my mom had in her garden. They were a combination of orange and red. I looked forward to the huge patch blossoming each summer. This was for a double challenge on Splitcoaststampers. The ways to use it challenge was to use copic markers and the card sketch challenge also.
I put the poppies on dimensionals and the acetate poppies were attached with glue dots.
I used three different cuddlebug folders.

We're taking a break from putting furniture together today. We'll wait until tonight when DH gets home to start again. Can't wait until these rooms are done. Then we can hang the blinds that just arrived for the screened in porch! Will the projects ever end? LOL
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
