Something New, Something Stamped

Well, I finally did it. I finally got some of my stamping collection behind doors. I love being an organized person but with the number of stamp sets I had I wanted a better way to store things. When I started out I used things that were handy in the house or that someone gave me. Now I wanted to have my stamping things near but not seen all the time. So, I bought this cabinet at Target and with my family, put it together. The best thing is that the top doors fold in half so they fold out of the way and it's easier to work with them open. Things are easy to get to. I have my tv and stereo system in a cabinet too. On top of my cabinet are containers that I use to store my cards. I also put a card on front so it shows them off.

This is my cabinet opened up. I have clear drawers so I can see what's in the drawers, but I have them labeled as well since I can't see everything in the drawers. I moved things around to do this so it will take a few days to get the hang of where I put things. Did you know those Sterlite containers come apart? My DH found that there are tabs in the back that holds one drawer to the other. I bought a 7-drawer cart that was too high. He took off the top drawer and it fit into the cabinet. I'm really happy with this new set up.

This is a card I made for Saturday's Inspiration Challenge. You looked at cute purses on Etsy and made a card to go with it. Here's my card and the purse I used for inspiration. Let me know what you think.

We've got 3 weeks of summer vacation left.....sniff...sniff.....sniff. Well, I guess it's okay but I'd rather be at home stamping! LOL
Take care of yourself until we visit again.
Hugs and Blessings coming your way.
