Wish My Camera Worked!

My nice camera died last week and I've been stuck using the kid's camera which is very limited when it comes to card making. Anyway, I did my best to photograph these cards but, will have to photograph again when my camera arrives in Sept.
This is for Limited Supplies 183 something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. My old is the cute house mouse stamp, something new is the Thank you stamp, the borrowed is the idea of cutting the scallop circle to make long petals. Not sure whose idea it was originally but I saw it here somewhere. Something blue is the Copic sky. The picture was taken with my old camera while I wait for my new camera to arrive. The camera I used died so I had to use the 'kid's camera'.
The image is colored with a blender pen and reinkers or ink lids. The sky is copic marker color 21. The sunflower thank you is two scallop circles in artichoke and summer sun with the petals cut to make them look like flowers. They were mounted on dimensionals

This is for Ways to Use it 181 using pencils. I used my Prismacolors with gamsol. I used them a bit differently today though. I put color on the card then dabbed a q-tip on the gamsol tip then blended the colored pencil with the q-tip instead of the blending stub. I love the results so much better.
The card stock was folded in half then folded back in half again. The map was stamped in black, The ovals are nestabilities scallop ovals. I tipped the ends in black. The saying is the curly label set stamped in versa mark then embossed in silver on silver paper. I stamped For You in stazon black.

So today was a quiet day for us. We got some things done around here. I felt like I was just exhausted and needed a nap. So I took a nap! I haven't done that in a long, long time.
My DS got home from Kelly's Island up near Sandusky, Ohio. He's exhausted and said he would talk to us about his weekend tomorrow.
I hope you enjoy your Labor Day tomorrow. Yesterday we had DH's parents over for dinner. It was a nice visit. DH cooked on the grill and the chicken always comes out delicious with BBQ sauce on it........so juicy! YUM!
Well, off to look through the tons of stamps our card ministry received. Bless you for stopping by. May you enjoy your day off tomorrow.
