I also got 6 sets of cards ready for tomorrow night's Card Ministry. I will photograph them Saturday when they are finished. Right now they are in plastic envelopes.
Here are two cards I got in the mail today.
The first one is from Sue Wetzel, who lost her home to a fire when her house was struck by lightning. A friend of mine told me about it and asked if I had something to donate. I went through here and found lots to donate. It was a good feeling to do this. Her insurance company had them set up with the basics, but stamping sure would lower her stress level.
Here's her thank you card.
The next card is from Fran-known on SCS as Philsmom. She and I were part of the Teapotters group on SCS who said we'd make a card and send it to another gal who was part of the Teapotters challenge last week. This is a great group of ladies. 3/4 weeks in the month we make cards for others in need. The last Tuesday of the month we sign up to make a card for a fellow stamper. What fun we have just signing up! LOL
Here's the gorgeous card I got from Fran. The card opens from the top and the stems tuck into the vase to keep the card closed. Thanks Fran for this beautiful card!
I'm so enjoying the kids being home. They actually took out Monopoly and played for an hour or so. They also spent lots of time playing cards! There's nothing like the sound of kid's laughter filling the house!
Well, it's time to get some sleep. Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
