Memorial Memories

Last night was the memorial for my MIL.  It was a nice evening for the family.  Many people they hadn't seen in a long, long time came to pay their respects.  It was a time to reconnect with people from the past.  Dad enjoyed it and so did Tim.  I'm sure the others did too but these are the two that stood out for me.
Tim's ex showed up too....that was a bit stressful for me as she worked the room saying hi to many who were there.  She lives in the area and knows many of the same people.  She didn't approach me so I was thankful for that.
We took home some beautiful flowers.  Oh my, they are gorgeous!  I have a program that reduces the size of pictures and has my watermark at the bottom and I forgot to take it off of this picture before I posted it.  I had nothing to do with this set of flowers except taking the picture.....LOL
This set of flowers is in my craft area and the smell is just wonderful!
I received more cards for Summit Point from wonderful SCS ladies.  Take a peek at what I got yesterday.  We are up to 147 cards donated to the residents who can't get out to buy cards or can'd afford them.  The ladies on Splitcoast Stampers are amazing people.
This group of general cards and Christmas cards were made by Jan in Arizona.
This group of cards was sent from Judy in PA.
Here is the card I made for yesterday's sketch challenge.
Thanks for stopping by.  I'll be busy today getting lots of odds and ends done.  It's been a crazy week with state testing at work and this stuff for the funeral.  God's here, this I know.
Bless you for stopping by.
