What an amazing Bible Study last night! Ladies talking about beliefs and helping each other with struggles. It was a wonderful night and makes me excited to go back. Thanks Jane! I also came across this verse on a card that I received: I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
Philippians 4:11
I have to tell you I've been able to do some of the Splitcoast card-making challenges and that's been amazing! I so missed that when I was so busy with work stuff.
Here's the challenge for today. You had to make a card with a dragon or an oriental card. I had to dig through by stamps in the basement to find this guy. I don't have oriental things either. Anyway as tired as I was early in the morning when this was posted, I was able to come up with the perfect text for it. I typed it then printed and inked the draggin and voila, here it is.
On Splitcoast stampers site there is a group of ladies led by Cindy Mothermark, who we all call Mother, who hosts challenges where stampers can make cards and send them to people or places. This month, Summit Point in Sagamore Hills was chosen to receive cards. This is a senior community where they can't get out to get cards or can't afford to buy cards. Here is a bunch of cards from Zella who is from Barberton , Ohio. Thanks so much Zella! You are a true blessing from God.
While on FB today I found this item and because I'm short it truly amused me! Hope it amuses you too.
Now however, I have more experience reading the Bible and today is a day where we truly need to stop to concentrate on what Jesus did for us. He died! He died for you and me. He loved us that much. I can't say that about anyone else in my life, can you? We know that in three days he is resurrected, but back then they didn't know it and by this time in the day they were mourning the loss of Jesus, their friend, master, teacher, son. Take time to think and pray about what was done for us today.
I have to tell you what my TWO sweet teens are doing this weekend..........They left about 1 today and drove 35 minutes across town to stay with Grandma and Grandpa and help them out. They are 80 and 83 and Grandma has had toe surgery and is in pain. The kids know if they go over there they can improve the mindset of both grandparents. They can also make food, clean and do yard-work that needs to be done.
The coolest part of all is that they came up with this themselves! Made me want to cry!!
They will make an mini Easter dinner with grandma and grandpa for lunch Sunday. Then they will come home so we can eat a meal together that Tim and I make. Thank you God for giving us these children. You've truly blessed us!
Tomorrow I'll be stamping with a friend. Woot, woot, nothing better than that huh?
Praying that Tim feels better. He's got something that he's not had before......a temp. and an achy feeling that is truly severe. Just laying in the chair he said he hurt all over. Now he's exhausted a day later.
Thanks for visiting today.
May God Richly Bless You,
