So SAWEEEEET!!

Well today is done and I'm officially on Spring Break. I still like the traditional Spring break from Good Friday and the week after. We had a great day. Half of my students went to Hale Farm to see what it was like to be a slave. They escaped and were chased and everything. They hid in a barn, a basement and in a house. They were found though and lost their freedom passes. They had a blast. I couldn't go because #1 I couldn't walk all of that land and #2 I definitely couldn't RUN with them! They'd have hospitalized me by the end of the day if I had gone. I had fun making a cool card with the technique called emboss kiss. Here it is, see what you think.  The butterfly was made by stamping the plain butterfly in tangerine then inking up my bubble embossing folder with razzleberry ink.  I pushed the butterfly onto the razzleberry embossing powder then stamped and cut out the butterfly.
Here's the card I made for today's free for all challenge which was to make a dragon, or oriental card in honor of Chinese New Year.
So now I'm on spring break Hope.  I'll be sleeping in late tomorrow and getting up only because I have an eye appt. at 9:40!  Bless you for stopping by.
