This card is for the teapotters challenge this week. We were to use a hummingbird. I didn't have any so I printed something from the internet and colored it with Copics. I added versamark then iridescent ice to make it sparkly. Hopefully it will make the recipient happier to see sparkles.
Here's another challenge card I did for Sweet N Sassy Stamps. You had to follow a sketch they gave you. I used the butterfly and flower image from Treasured, which just came out this month. I also couldn't resist their grass and fence die cuts.
This morning for the Ways to Use It challenge on SCS you had to use ruffles. Here is my card for that.
Isn't this fun? I wanted to try to put someone behind the window and this seemed to work.
This is the other new Sweet N Sassy Stamp set I got. I needed a kid's birthday set. I can't believe how quickly I got my order from Korin and the people at Sweet N Sassy. I ordered it Saturday, and received it Tuesday! I would have received it Monday except for a post office issue. Amazing is all I can say! No, I don't work for Sweet N Sassy, but when I see great customer service I let people know about it. This is also a Christian stamp company so I can get stamps for my Card Ministry there too.
Yesterday Sarah and I walked around the block. She was so sweet to do that with me. We walked and it started to rain then changed to sleet and finally stopped, but we continued the walk with hoods up. Walking is something I desperately need to do. How are you doing with keeping yourself healthy? I've been very selfish lately. What I mean by that is I'm just thinking of myself and what I want to do not thinking about my family and their need for me to be around. Trying to remedy that. Pray for me for that as well would you please?
Thanks for praying and for visiting today. A virtual friend Susie Burker posts a blessing for the day. I hope she doesn't mind, but I'd like to copy that idea.
Blessing from Yesterday: Sarah and I walked together talking and enjoying time together.
