Simple Woman's Daybook and More

I haven't done this is a long time so here goes:

FOR TODAY... April 9, 2012
  Outside my window... ~  It is dark and most of the world is going to sleep.  I'm awake because I am on Spring break.
 I am thinking... ~that is is nice to be able to do what I'd like and stamp all day and stay up all night if I want.
 I am thankful for... ~my wonderful DH who is in the middle of another big project.  He's adding another whole row of aquariums of all sizes in his Fish Room.
 I am wearing... ~Jeans, socks and my lighthouse shirt.
 I am remembering... ~when I used to read such fun stories to the kids.  I miss those times.
 I am going... ~to have lunch with DH tomorrow.
 I am currently reading... ~Loving by Karen Kingsbury
 I am hoping...~that I can continue to get some things done around here and have fun making cards and reading.
 On my mind...~Monday will be here before I know it and back to work.
Noticing that...~the kids are having fun together like they used to.
Pondering these words...~Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will make your path straight.~Proverbs 3:5-6
 In the kitchen...~the dishwasher is humming along cleaning the dishes to be used tomorrow.
 Around the house...~all is quiet except the sound of the kids talking before they go to sleep.
One of my favorite things ~is chocolate cake with chocolate frosting...it's been ages since I've had that.
  From my picture journal...~ Here are 8 cards sent to me by Ruby to be sent to Summit Point for the seniors to use.   Aren't they just great cards?  I can't believe how many ladies are doing this.  Thank you everyone for doing this.

 I participated in another challenge from Splitcoast stampers.  The challenge was to pick a card from someone's gallery for inspiration then make your card similar but you must change several things.  This will be one of the cards we make at Card Ministry Friday.

Here's something I found on FB and wanted to share it.  It's so hard to be still and listen for God's voice. 

How about a nice big smooch from Audrey?  Isn't she precious?  She's a dear friend's first granddaughter.

Here's my life verse.  I love this picture with it too.

It's time to get some sleep or something to eat.  I need to eat something before sleeping so I'll go see what we have.  We had leftovers tonight and they were so good.  Don't ya just love leftovers?  Yum!
