Going Into The Deep Freeze

Today was a nice day weather-wise.  Tomorrow will be horrible, with temps below zero, snow and wind.  Schools have closed for tomorrow and some for Tuesday where the temps will be even lower.  It's been a lot of years since we've had temps this low.  Lots of kids and teachers are happy tonight as their Christmas Vacation has been extended.

Tim and I went to the church we went to last week.  It had more people today, I counted about 60.  I kept praying that God would help me stay positive about this visit.  People tend to be negative and point out what's wrong with a church they visit.  I want to give this church a fair try before looking further.

Here is my inspiration from Joy's gallery:
I used different colors and layout but kept the butterfly and sunshine idea.
I stamped in Memento tuxedo black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I added the baker's twine and sponged the tag and text.
This was for Queen For The Day Challenge where you had to find someone who matched your first name or your online name.  I chose Sue28 as my inspiration and here is her card.
Image was stamped with memento black ink then colored with Copic Markers. Scallop circles Nestabilities were used. Circles were added to front of card after dry embossing was done. I chose Sue28 as my inspiration and here is her card.

Ben and Rachel are bummed because their flight for tomorrow morning has been cancelled.  United has cancelled it and can't get them home until late Wed. night.  We're trying to help them with the stress they feel.  It's hard having the mind set that you're going home and resume your life there, and having someone change that for you.  Their biggest concern is the kitten.

Here's an old song by Michael W. Smith that I needed to hear tonight.  I long and need to feel close to God again.
