Today is the day after Tim's birthday and we celebrated at Babushka's Kitchen. It is a Polish restaurant on Rt21 in Independence. His Dad joined us and so did Brianna. Most of the people at the table got the kielbasa with sauerkraut and pirogis. I on the other hand, along with Sarah got Chicken Paprikash. It is some of the best food I've ever had. I used to make Chicken Paprikash years ago. Loved making the little dumplings too.
It was good to see Brianna and Grandpa. He wanted to see Ben and Rachel before they go home. Ben's not feeling well. He's been sick this trip with a cold.
Today we took the Christmas stuff down. It's depressing to me so see everything bare again. I do like to see things cleaned up but miss the lights on the tree and mantle. We still have the lights outside still up and turned on come evening though. So, I look out the window and see the pretty colors of lights.

This is my card for the teapotter's challenge. We were to make a card that had to do with our resolution for this year. Mine is to trust the Lord more and read my Bible daily. We will exchange cards soon and can't wait to see who will get this card and what card I'll get!
