Happy Mother's Day

When I think of Mother's Day I think of those who have children, had children, wanted children.  I saw the first two items on FB.  The third item I wrote.  I know several ladies who wanted to be a mom but it just wasn't God's Will.  How do you counsel someone like this?   God knows best, just doesn't seem to help.
I pray your Mother's Day was just as special as you are.

Praying For the Childless

For those who have dreamed of a child,

For the woman who longs to be a mom

For the woman who sees children mistreated

or children born to parents who just can't do the job.

God knows your pain; he hears your every prayer

and feels the sadness of each tear.

Praying that God will bring a renewed spirit to you

and a hug so huge you can feel Him near.

This is a card I made by putting together several different things.  The cute owl is from Art Impressions.  Jane and Jan got one free at the Akron Stamping Show and they got one for me too.  Wasn't that a sweet thing to do?

 This is one of Jan's stamps that I added twine to the paper pieced balloons.  Fun to make.

 This little owl got googly eyes.  So much fun to shake this and watch those eyes dance!

 Jane had us make a sunflower card and I wanted to see what a sunflower would look like if I stamped it in brown instead of black.  Here's half of my flower.  Love how it turned out.  Thanks Jane!

 This is one of Jan's 'ladies'.  She originally had a glass of wine in her had which I switched with the sign.  I thought it was perfect with the way she's holding her other hand.

Here's what was posted by my Daughter-in-law on FB.  So sweet isn't it?  Made my night!  Thank you God for such a wonderful DIL and wife for Ben.
