Day 2 in Charleston

Today began so beautifully here.  The son came up and I was in time to catch it's raysrising up over the horizon and the pier down the beach.  This is an amazing scene to wake up to each day.
It was a bit cloudy when I got this but our day was filled with sunshine today.  Tim and I walked the beach for a long time. I love the sound of the water coming in and the gulls making their noises.
These are the huge donkeys that pulled our covered wagon for our downtown tour of Charleston.  Check out the poop bags.  Yes, these companies are fined if poop hits the streets.  Someone has to empty these bags, stay in school kids so this isn't YOUR job. LOL
This is some of the beautiful architecture we saw.  We were asked if we knew the difference between a cemetery and a graveyard.  They said a graveyard is being buried in a churchyard and a cemetery is being buried on land not by a church.  Did you know that?
 This is St. Michaels.
This is a theatre in the area that is still used.
Only a few of the streets still have cobblestone.
This is an unusual suspension bridge which connects the Island of Palms to the mainland.
These incredible palms line the center islands that divide the roads.
This is the patio where we ate last night.  It was such a gorgeous night to eat outside.
So far loving South Carolina!
Blessing of the Day: Spending time with Tim in God's gorgeous creation on the ocean here in Charleston, South Carolina!
Thanks for stopping by today.
Blessings,
