Pasta, Cards, Live to Praise Him

Yesterday was date night for lunch. Tim and I went to Macaroni Grill. We had gift cards from our credit card use.


This is my favorite, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. 

Tim got penne pasta with a spicy sauce and peppers on top.  Both meals were very good.


Take a look at this frame. It's one I made following the directions of a friend. I had two friends come to my house this week and each of us brought a card or 3D project for the others to make.

This is the front of my card using the stamp set from the Holiday catalog called, Gather Together.

We used an embossing folder from Darice, called, leaves to eamboss the front. The leaves stamped were made from dies which cut into white fun foam. I attached the foam to cardboard then  added adhesive to attach it to the acrylic block.

 Here is the inside of my card. It's easy to do.

This is the third card we made. I love this. We used an embossing folder and designer series paper. It was a great combination of colors and textures.

 Saw this on FB and had to share.

 I don't know about you, but sometimes my day is like this. Ever have one of these days?

Blessing of the Day: Tim got the garage cleaned out. Whew he did an amazing job cutting up and bundling an old desk. He is preparing to make a potter's table in the garage. We don't have a picnic table so I've been missing having a place to re-pot plants.
I can use the glass  table top in the porch, but dirt gets under the glass and is a pain to clean up.

Tim and I had a great date yesterday. We ate pasta then got ice cream at a place called, The Pine Cone.
