Last Day of August 2019

This is a card I made at Jan's house today. The crab and seaweed are from a Gina K set that Jan had. I wish I knew the name of the set.
Anyway, a friend gave me dry embossed cardstock. This background was dots which I turned over and used the inverted images which looked like bubbles to me. I brayered it with Distress Ink.
The images were colored with Prismacolor colored pencils. I took a piece of crumb cake paper and used versamark to stamp on it so it would look like sand. I ripped the paper so it would be uneven like the bottom of the sea. Trying to decide if I should put googly eyes on this guy or not.
Here is a hidden slider card. I'm going to have my stamping class make this. This is it closed.
Here it is with the slider out. The card also has an inside to it like a typical card.
I can't believe it's the last day of August! My days in the pool are limited even with the heater.

Verse of the Day: Psalm 27:1  I'm holding on to this verse today. In the last two days I've had things that were upsetting to the point of tears. That's life, I know. It's full of  highs and lows. It's all in how we handle it.  I cried then prayed. I gave both situations to God. There is nothing I can do and being upset about it won't change it. It will affect me. So.....trusting in God is what I'm doing. Only He can change things if it's in His will.

Blessing of the Day: We got to see Sarah, have dinner with her and see her pictures from her trip to California. She had a great time.
I also got to stamp with Jan today. Thanks Jan for the fun stamped images.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Blessings,
