We had the kids/grandkids here today along with Tim's dad. What a fun day. Everyone brought something for the meal. It was an easy pull-together meal. We had sandwiches, chips/dip, potato salad, fruit and a DQ cake for dessert.
Tim's dad stayed the whole day. He napped a bit after lunch. Zoey napped as well. When they awoke the kids/grandkids went swimming. Tim's dad went up on the pool deck with Tim. He thoroughly enjoyed himself. He was happy to watch them and laugh at their antics. The three year old kept telling Dad to come in and join them!
Precious times.
Tonight after dinner I went swimming. It was about 72 degrees outside. The pool was 84 degrees. We saw steam coming from the pool. It was a weird thing to see. We have a heated pool. It's the only way to have a pool in northeast Ohio. It allows me to swim almost every day.
Here's a card that will be part of my stamping classes next week. Isn't this the cutest bird house?
This is a cute Christmas box by Sam Pootles. The pattern is hers, the decoration of the box is mine.
Here's a buckle card I made with directions from Julie Richardson. It's an older fold card, but fun to make.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 27:13
Heavenly Father, I pray for all of those who are dealing with Dorian and the disaster it brings to the people in its path. My brother lives near Daytona, Florida and his son lives in Jacksonville, Florida.
Help the first responders and all who are involved in this natural disaster.
Lord, I pray for all of those affected by the mass shootings that are going on all over our country. We need you Father, more than ever. Please have mercy on us Lord.
Blessing of the Day: Saw the kids and great grandpa for the day.
Thanks for stopping by,
