Once again here in Cleveland, Ohio, we have intermittent snow with dark skies.
This is a card that's called a quilt card. You need 5 pieces of dsp that go together. I chose the poppy paper from Stampin' Up. You cut the paper card size. I used 5 1/4" x 4". You cut off one corner and place it on the table. You turn the paper and cut again, and so on. Place papers together so it looks like a 5-piece puzzle when you are done. Choose a pattern that's easy to see how it should fit together.
Start with 1 pile and flip one piece of paper to the bottom. The next one you flip two pieces, and so on. When you are finished you should have 5 different papers on top. Put the pieces together as your background and go from there to decorate. You can add a sentiment, image or ribbon.
I love the one with the records. I used a punch with black paper. The centers are dsp. This is a quick, easy card.
Here is the card for the featured stamper challenge on SCS.
Here is my inspiration.
This is one of my winter mugs. I have mug collections for fall, Christmas, Snowmen and winter, and Valentine's day. This mug makes me smile every time I see it.
Blessing of the day
Tim and I got lots of errands done today. We got haircuts, went grocery shopping, stopped at the post office, then dropped a book at the library. I'm praising God because we don't usually get past 2 errands before he wants to go home.
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
