Where Oh Where Has She Gone?

Wow, it's been so long since I've posted here. I've been working on my other blog, and posting to Facebook cards I've made and classes I'm having this month.

Oblivious Parrot Plays Peekaboo With A Cat That Looks Very Hungry - Digg

Check out this cute video of a parrot playing Peek-a-Boo with the neighbor cat.

Here's another card for Mom. It's made with the Cute Fruit stamp set and the Plaid Tidings designer series paper from the new mini catalog.

Here is the inspiration for my card.

I liked the shape of the suitcase, the colors and the plaid. I used similar colors and added cherry cobbler. When folded this too, fits into an A2 envelope. This is for my mom who is in a nursing home.

I followed this tutorial from France Martin on her blog.

God gave me such a beautiful and delightful scene yesterday. A group of 7 deer came through our back yard and several of the fawns were running and kicking up their heels. They looked like pure joy.  It was wonderful to see unrestrained joy like that.

Verse of the Day- 1 John 4:13

1 John 4:13-15 | 1 john, 1 john 4, John 4 13

Blessing of the Day: Tim continues to work on the master bathroom. Today he is working on the wainscoting.  We are high and dry amid the thunderstorms and rain that has stayed with us for hours. We enjoyed time on the porch during the storm. I sat out there marveling at God's handiwork. The storm itself, the birds at the feeder, the hummingbird and the flowers in the garden still blooming. The butterfly bushes have been very popular with the butterflies and hummingbirds.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Blessings,

Bensarmom
