Did You Know You Can Get A Cool Effect by Dry Embossing in Two Different Directions?

Did You Know You Can Get A Cool Effect by Dry Embossing in Two Different Directions?

If you look carefully you can see lines running top to bottom behind the birds. First I dry embossed my card base one with the lines running top to bottom, then I embossed it again with the lines running side to side.

It makes for another great way to add texture to your card.  If you notice the logs the birds are standing on have been dry embossed with the wooden texture embossing folder.

Designer Series Paper is very easy to tear. It's even easier to tear if you run it through an embossing folder. Then it will easily tear to follow the lines. Check out where you see white foam in the water. That's where I've torn the designer series paper.  I also added Wink of Stella to the water and the logs. It makes them look more realistic.
This is a card I saw on Patty Bennett's blog and thought it was cute. I made it my own with some changes. Thanks Patty.
