Hey Everybody,
I've been busy teaching classes this week and making birthday cards for kids. A friend gave me this cute kid paper so I cut 1 1/4" squares from it and did a layout with 8 small squares and 1 large square. After the designer paper was added to the cardstock, I dry embossed it with a cute birthday embossing folder. Then I added the sentiment and image.
Here is the same layout and paper but a different image. This image is from Gerda Steiner. The cupcake is from Lawn Fawn and the party hat is a retired Stampin' Up stamp.Speaking of birthdays, My Mia turns 3 tomorrow. We will celebrate with family tonight. Here is the card I made for her. I cut a door in the tree so the bear peeks out.
Here is the card closed.

These will be donated to a local hospital.
These cards were made with left over designer series paper from the plaid 6" x 6" designer series paper. I used my hexagon punch. These were donated to Hillcrest Hospital cancer floor.

I love looking to see how people use up their scrap designer series papers. Teaching classes and cutting so much paper gives me lots and lots of scraps. Luckily, there's no shortage of ways to use them thanks to Pinterest!
