Super Hero Pigeon

 Hey Everybody,

Maybe you remember this card that I made recently.

After my entry for the day I wrote this:

While I'm looking at the sample I have a new idea to make a similar card with a landscape in the background and put a cape on the pigeon! LOL

I could turn him into a super hero of some sort.  Oh how silly we can get when the evening gets late.

Well, guess what I did?  Yup, I made another card with a Super Hero Pigeon!

It's not often I have an idea of a finished card in my head before I start a card.

I wanted this to be a card that would encourage someone. I hope this does just that. I used an embossing folder for the wall that had ink dragged across the debossed side. I used Calypso Coral and Terracotta Tile inks. I stamped, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut the pigeon.

I printed both the cape and sky scape from clip art.  I typed the sentiment, printed it out then cut around it to mimic the lines of the buildings behind the pigeon.

I had a lot of fun making this card. Sometimes it pays to have silly ideas late at night.

So glad I followed my idea with a real card.

Thanks for being here.

Blessings,

Sue

This card absolutely made me smile—what a fantastic way to bring whimsy and encouragement together! The Super Hero Pigeon is such a fun and uplifting idea, and I love how you translated that spark of inspiration into a bold design. The ink-dragged embossing gives the wall such depth, and the skyline and sentiment fit so perfectly—it’s like a little comic book panel full of heart. Late-night creativity clearly struck gold here!
