Rockin' On

 Hey Everybody,

It's a brand new type of card for me today. This is called a rocker card. Here's the challenge for today.

Sabrina's challenge was to make a card with anything but 4 sides. Here's her challenge.

I used Karen Titus' tutorial to make my rocker card. It can be found here.

I die cut the paper, then fussy cut the glasses, fruit and leaves. I stamped the sentiments and ice cubes on the glasses. I added them to the card with dimensionals. Then I added the loose frosted dots. There is a half-sheet of white paper on the back of this so you can write something if you'd like.

Keywords: WT1063 rocker card birthday
Stamps: Cheers & Sips
Paper: berry burst, SU Celebratory Sips designer series paper, white
Paper Size: 3 1/2" x 4"
Ink: Blackberry Bliss
Accessories: SU Deckled Circle dies, SU Loose Frosted Dots, glue dots, dimensionals, scissors
Techniques: Rocker Card, fussy cutting
If you noticed, in the paper size section, this particular card by Karen Titus is small. It is 3 1/2" x 4".  Our typical cards are 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
All I have to do is increase the size of the circles I'm using to get it closer to the typical card size.

Part of me likes the smaller size, but if you're going to write in it, there's really not much room to write on the back.
I'm going to see what other rocker cards are out there and play around with other sizes.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have you made cards like this? If so, please share.

Blessings,
Sue
