You remember that jingle don't you?

This is the image I thought of when I read the challenge. It originally was by Sassy Cheryl but purchased by Whimsy Stamps. The sentiment on the card comes with the digital image. I wasn't sure if I wanted to use that sentiment or the smaller one in the foreground that says, Roses are red, My coffee is black, Get too close to my mug, and I'll give you a whack!
Anyway, I printed out the image and greeting. I colored the image with Copic Markers. I added the image panel to my coffee designer paper by Impression Obsession called Vintage Coffee. I then added that to a rococo rose card base. The sentiment was added to designer paper then added to the card base. This will go on a patient dinner tray at a local hospital

What would you make for this coffee challenge? Do you have coffee stamps?  If not, there are a lot of free images online.

I love making coffee related cards. I also enjoy drinking coffee. I remember getting started drinking coffee when I started college at Cleveland State, downtown. I took the bus, stopped in the student union to get black coffee then on to my 8 a.m. class.

I don't know when things changed but coffee drinking for me evolved into flavored coffees.

I remember a friend at work had the best smelling coffee. When I asked her what it was she told me, Jingle Bell Java. It's a coffee made by monks, if you can believe that.
It was one of the best coffee's I'd had so I'd order a bunch at this time of year so it would last all year. It's available during the Christmas season. I'd freeze all the packages until I needed one.

Here's information about the coffee from the Mystic Monk website.

The Carmelite Monks of Wyoming have a great passion for coffee and are using that passion to fund the construction of their new monastery in the American West. They carefully roast only the finest gourmet coffee beans under conditions that will make each coffee roast consistent and smooth with a taste that will make your taste buds tingle. JINGLE BELL JAVA is flavor developed especially for the Christmas season; with hints of white chocolate, festive spices and bourbon, it's a rich coffee to savor and share. 12-oz. bag. Ground coffee only.
Then I had a friend whose husband worked at Bed Bath and Beyond and she could get flavored coffee k-cups at a 20% discount. She got me started drinking raspberry chocolate coffee, and Cinnabon Cinnamon flavored coffees.

I like to have an assortment of coffees available. Right now I like, Cinnabon Cinnamon, Chocolate raspberry, Hazelnut, Caramel Cappuccino and Caramel Pecan coffees.

I used to collect coffee mugs. I love pottery mugs and when we'd go on vacation I'd look for handmade mugs for my collection. Early in my teaching career, I had shelves all along the kitchen walls, near the ceiling where I'd display all of my mugs.  I'd switch them out now and then so I could use them.

When people came to my house they'd choose their mug from my display of about 2 dozen on the pantry in the kitchen.
I've since thinned out my collection of mugs. I kept some that were very special to me.

I still like pottery mugs, but also love mugs with photos of my kids and Mia on them. It's fun to use a mug and see wonderful memories of the kids when they were little.

Mia likes looking at baby Mia on mugs I have. Soon we'll add another baby to take pictures of.  Baby Boy Craig is due Jan. 14th. The kids are hoping he's born at the end of December.  Mia was born 2 weeks early so who knows when this little guy will arrive.

Wow, we went from a coffee challenge, to coffee flavors, to a coffee commercial to mugs and to baby. Whew, I think I've had too much coffee today! LOL

Thanks for stopping by. Maybe you can stop by again and we'll enjoy a cup of coffee together.
Blessings,
Sue
