Nursery Rhyme or Child's Song

 Hey Everybody,

Angie's challenge was to use a child's song or a nursery rhyme. You can find her challenge here.

I chose the song, You Are My Sunshine. It is a song I sing to all of my grandbabies as long as they'll let me. LOL Even now listening to the song makes me tear up. My grands are such a blessing to me.

I stamped the image, which is a House Mouse stamp called Sunflower Walk. I colored it with Derwent and Stampin' Up! watercolor pencils. I took a blender pen and blended the colors lightly. I added yellow wink of stella to the sunflower to make it sparkle. I die cut the image with the deckled rectangles then did the same with the designer paper. I added the image panel to the designer paper with dimensionals. I added the designer paper to a crushed curry card base. Lastly, I added brown rhinestones. This will go to my first grandblessing who is 4. She was my first sunshine.

Here's a shorts video of the song in case you don't remember it or haven't heard it before.

What's a nursery rhyme or children's song that you think of when you read this challenge? Maybe there are songs that were sung to you when you were a child. Maybe there were nursery rhymes or songs you sang to your grandchildren. I hope you can come up with something then find a stamp to illustrate it.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Blessings,

Sue
