What a Difference a Day Makes

This card was for the Splitcoast sketch challenge this week. The small panel was to be the focus of your card. I had fun with this using the masking technique to add presents all around. I stamped in black stazon ink on the shiny card stock. When it dried, I colored it with markers. The sky was stamped with blue. A Sakura gel pen was used to add sparkle to the sand, presents and other objects in the card. The Cuttlebug background was inked with blue ink on the swirls and I added the starfish and shell with sand or saffron ink. I used the ticket punch to do the corners and added a dot of white ink in each corner to show the pink cs which is underneath the blue. Eyelets were added with the Cropodile. I use eyelets so much more now that I have that wonderful too. I don't hammer anything unless it is in the center and I can't get the Cropodile to reach. Oh to have one that would reach anywhere on a card!!
I am feeling better today. I am resting and eating food every few hours to replace what I lost yesterday. When I went to pick up the kids, I found out that I had been prayed for by the staff at the kid's school. Somehow they found out I was sick. Praise God for prayers and friends.
