This card was made for the splitcoast challenge of the day....to use the faux tile technique and made a card. This was a fun one to use. I traced the lines in versamarker and embossed with white embossing powder. Then I watercolored the image with watercolor crayons and aquapainters. The blue background is Brilliance, Sky Blue dabbed on with a sponge. The center of the flower has ice stickles on it for sparkle. Ribbon was added and corners were rounded or cut with the ticket punch.

This was begun after walking down my stairs and looking through my window at the front of the house. I thought that it would be perfect for a card. So I used a piece of acetate and drew lines with a versamark pen and used white embossing powder. The picture is Lovely as a tree stamped in black then sponged the trees with several different colors of green. The ground is green with purple and yellow flowers made with the flower stamp from watercolor minis(as Kittie) does. The sky is sponged with blue then the flower stamp was used in ballet blue to darken it a bit. The designer paper was used to look like wallpaper and you are looking out of the window. I think next time I'll use white paper for the window panes.
