Have you ever heard the verse that says we should praise God in good times and in bad times? Have you ever wondered how good could come out of bad? Who hasn't? I use my stamping to help me through tough and good times in my life. I also use my stamping as therapy for me. I love to use my creativity when looking at a sample of a stamp set. Sometimes I need to CASE something like the bag with the cocoa, before I can change it and add more of my own ideas to it. I just loved the idea JanTink had here to use a lunch bag for a container.
Speaking of containers, the next picture is the cute little box that is on the SU website under new web ideas...It is quick and easy to make. I love the Fabulous Flowers set and thought it would look great as the box topper. The flower was glued with the glue pad and I used iridescent ep.
In my Wednesday night class we're talking about how we're a container, a vessel that needs to look to God for his help in eating healthy. It is so hard when you have youngsters who have junk food in the house because they NEED to gain weight. I am feeling pleased that last night in spite of the sight and smell of pizza, I resisted! I felt good about that decision.
The last card is one I did for today's color challenge on SCS. I chose that Fabulous Flowers set and made that large flower into a wreath. I looked at the hole I'd made in the wreath. It made me think about the hole that used to be in me before I knew the Lord as my Savior. I feel whole now that He's my Father and Friend.
I hope you know Him as your Lord and Savior. If you don't just ask someone to help you find Him.

Good article today. Willpower is like a muscle. Everytime you use it, it gets stronger. I know. I lost my weight 20 years ago. (80 lbs) I've kept it off and I have no problems passing those things up now, because they don't taste as good as FEELING good feels. So, since you use used your willpower last night, it will be easier next time. :D
I have noticed that every time i didnt get what I wanted there was a reason behind and most of the times, God was protecting me as what I wanted wasnt good for me afterall! So, i do agree with you here!
