WooHoo, I'm On Vacation!

I am on vacation and I can now blog and upload cards to SCS! Woohoo!
Here is a card I made for the SC207. I stamped the image and colored it with SU markers then added silver stars to the sky. Then I added the lambs wool with liquid applique and heat set it. I punched a square out of the card stock and put in an acetate window and glued the white wood-like window panes colored with cocoa marker on the page. Then I cut the curtains and used the scallop punch for the valance on the curtains.

This was made for the Holiday Challenge Extravaganza 2008. This is an inspiration challenge using blue or brown snowflakes. I decided to put them together. Cranberry crisp base with ballet blue then white then glossy card stock. The glossy card stock was stamped with versa mark then white embossing powder. It was colored with choc chip ink and ballet blue.

This is for Sketch Challenge 207. I like the basic layout then the added strips of paper. This made for an easy challenge for me. I stamped the flowers in apricot then did the rock n roll technique in riding hood red. I then painted the crackle liquid on the image and waited for it to dry.
The holiday paper was used and so was the perfect layers tool.

Imagine my surprise when I opened the envelope and saw this gorgeous card! I knew in a moment it must be from Faith, since those white dots are her trademark! Thank you so much Faith for this gorgeous Christmas card! What a wonderful, wonderful surprise to now own one of your originals!!! Bless you for making my day.

This is a gorgeous card I received from Hope. The cardstock is green on the outside and white on the inside. She ripped the edge and you see two colors with this cardstock...isn't that neat? The other edge is edged in gold. Versamark and gold ep for the greeting and image. Thank you Hope for this lovely card.

Isn't this a gorgeous Christmas card? My friend Jan stamped in black then sprayed with adhesive and attached a used dryer sheet then trimmed it. It looks so pretty in real life. Thanks Jan!

This is a quick card I made using Inspired by Nature. I stamped the grass in moss then used moss, pink pirouette ink on the stem, flower, then used my choc chip spot to do the flower tops. I used a dauber to sponge pink around the edges, added the riding hood red ribbon and thank you. Perfect layers was used to make the black layer.

This was a fun card to make. I started with ballet blue paper and stamped my snow swirled snowflakes on it in ballet blue. The images of snowflakes were stamped on glossy paper with versa mark and embossed with white ep, then colored with a cotton ball and cocoa and ballet blue inks. Then it was covered with versa mark then heat and stick powder. Then dazzling diamonds added to that.
Dimensionals were used to mount the words.

I had fun making this for a double challenge today. I finally get to stamp! I'm on vacation!
Glossy card stock was stamped with Snow Swirled with versa mark then embossed with white ep. Then I colored the glossy card stock with ballet blue ink. The snowman was colored with a q-tip and navy and ballet blue inks. The nose was colored with a marker. Merry Christmas was stamped on ballet blue and punched out with a 1 1/4" circle punch. White 1 3/8 circle punch used for larger circle. Dimensionals were used to mount the circles and snowman.

I liked the way this came out to highlight the white snowflakes. I stamped with versa mark on shiny card stock. Then embossed with white ep. I added the riding hood red ribbon accented with hunter green scallop circle then the Merry Christmas on top of that. Dimensionals were used to mount the words.

Can you see how much fun I've had stamping? I am finishing making my cards so I can send them. Hope to work on them this weekend and get them out Monday. Yea, I know all of you have already gotten your cards sent..........sigh.....maybe next year I'll have them ready in the summer so all I have to do is print out my letter and add it to the envy! LOL
Not sure I'm THAT organized ya know?
Off to finish my envys, stamps, labels etc.
Thanks for stopping by! You are a blessing to me.
